Changefiles not working?

I'm trying out the Changefiles feature. We have an API key with plenty of credit on it (the /rate-limit endpoint confirms this).

Any Changefiles request (e.g. /changefiles/2026-06-03?api_key=XXXXX ) using our key gives us "Rate limit exceeded". 

I figure this could be a bug, and I'm waiting on a response from support. 

But meanwhile, has anyone had the same experience?

I've just checked and I can get the list of changefile dates from https://api.openalex.org/changefiles but not an individual date's files. It was working for me about a month ago when I was testing out the changefiles feature (not yet using it in production hence I hadn't seen the error before reading your post).
