Dears,

After extracting the abstract data from the inverted index, we noticed that a significant number of entries include the article's references. Below are some examples:

Hi Ivo, Roger, 

Do you have an estimate how many of these cases occur in abstracts of articles of 2021 and earlier, and how many in more recent articles? In other words, to what extent these issues are 'inherited' from Microsoft Academic Graph and to what extent they are collected/processed as such by  OpenAlex' algorithms?
