Filtering Authors by Last Updated Date

As part of our work integrating OpenAlex into EBSCO’s services, we’ve identified a need to filter authors by their last updated date. This functionality would help us monitor author changes and make sure our downstream systems are up to date.
I recently submitted this as a feature request to the OpenAlex, and it's on the roadmap, but there's no timeline yet.
If others in the community are also interested, it could help us advocate for the update. Would the ability to get filter authors to see what's changed be valuable for any of you?
