OpenAlex DOI/PMID import into Google Sheets for open access tracking

This script reads DOIs (and optionally PMIDs) from Google Sheets, queries the OpenAlex API with optional filters (year, type, open access, include_xpac), then writes core metadata and open access information (including best_oa_location) to a results sheet in the order returned by the API.

This script was originally developed to help researchers and research centers monitor the open access status of their publications, in order to support compliance with funder open access requirements.

Released under the GNU GPL license so you can share and reuse.
