I have heard you can email the support team as an academic researcher asking for an increased api... has anyone had success with this? I have emailed twice, but the support email sends an automated version back.

Would love help from anyone in this thread/specifically those on the OpenAlex team!

Hey Amelia. Did you figure out that you can purchase more look ups and downloads at https://openalex.org/settings/usage as described at https://openalex.org/pricing#prepaid-usage ? I hit the $1 limit a bunch of times when I started developing https://www.refrunner.com/ , but since I did some caching and optimizations I've not hit it in quite a while. D
