Question about OpenAIP data usage for a free flight simulation project

I'm developing OurRadioFS, an application that provides ATC-related information for flight simulation — airspace boundaries and radio frequencies (TWR, APP, ACC, etc.) — and I would like to use openAIP data to power this feature.

I'd like to ask about the licensing conditions for my specific use case:

- The app is completely free to download and use.

- There are no ads, no paid tiers, and no subscriptions.

- The only source of funding is voluntary donations from users who want to support the project.

- openAIP data (airspace + frequencies) would be one feature among several in the app, not the product itself.

Could you confirm whether this kind of donation-funded, ad-free app falls under permitted use of openAIP data, and let me know exactly what attribution format you'd like me to include?

welcome to the openAIP community and yes, you can use openaip data within your app. Please add attribution to openaip as data source somewhere in your application. The more users are aware of the project, the better the data will become. If you need any help, please let me know.
