GSoc 2014 (GeoReporter Android Open311 Smartphone Client)

Hey ,

I am a B.TECH student from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology ,Noida,India. I am well versed with Native android developement and have 

been developing applications from long time.While searching for an organisation I could contribute too I found Bloomington,IN and was very much interested in GeoReporter Android Open311 Smartphone Client project.I have forked the android client code base from GitHub to take a look at the code and get a feeling of how the app runs.

When I imported the code on Eclipse I right away got few errors regarding the available_servers raw resource but was solved in no time.I also downloaded the app from Google store to see how the app runs.I have gone through the idea page for GSoC and found the ideas interesting.Also have few ideas of my own in improving this project on Android.

I would be very much obliged if someone can answer my few questions and guide me in writing a good proposal and get selected in Bloomington,IN for GSoC 2014.
