OK, so I'm back at it.

I had Docky crash a couple times on me.
I've also had repeated issues with the Virtual Box Extensions causing
crashes.
Lastly I'm still having very slow bootup times, I think it's somewhere
in app-armor causing issues. I checked dmesg and found a weird
30second pause.

Purged virtualbox-guest-utils. killed apparmor, blacklisted the
vboxguest modules and updated intramfs and it seems to be booting a
good deal faster. I'm still getting ~15-20 seconds of black screen
though.

I know when I mess with the kernel modules the next boot is fast and
no black screen. Upon reboot I get the black screen.

So... when can I download the image? I'm not looking for perfection, but don't want to have to image machines twice either...
