BJ....check this thread out....scroll down to the VERY last post and try installing (on the classmate) the i386 headers and kernel (2 .deb files) and let me know if that helps.  I don't have a classmate to test so I'm relying on you  ;-)

I don't know where to start to troubleshoot this.   The new open 1:1 (v12.04) runs great with one exception, when I close the lid the computer goes to sleep and I cannot get it to turn back on.   I basically have to pull the battery.     I don't want to set it to just turn off the monitor because of the battery hit.   Any suggestions?
