I have just posted a new scripting component of this date to the
module warehouse. I will shortly attach a pdf of a short class about
how to use the servlet to a reply to this message.

See attached.

Essentially, the scripting component has a simple servlet built in that can be used for posting messages into a client.

Morris,

I've been thinking about the best place to keep your scripting class documents. How about putting them in the files section of the Scripting Google Group:

http://groups.google.com/group/open-wonderland-scripting/files

Let me know when they're there, and I'll create a link to them from the Developer section of the documentation wiki.

How does that sound for a plan?

Nicole.

Morris,

I have updated the documentation wiki to include links to both the Scripting Google Group and the individual tutorials:

http://code.google.com/p/openwonderland/wiki/OpenWonderland

In trying to figure out the name of each tutorial, I opened the three pdfs and noticed that the first class doesn't have a name (I called it "Getting Started" on the wiki page), and Classes 2 & 3 have the same name. I assumed Class 3 was supposed to be called "Using the Internal Servlet." It would be great if you could update these names so people don't get confused when they follow the links from the documentation wiki page.

Oh, and I suppose we should also check the links on the documentation wiki to make sure they still work after you update the files.

Thanks,
Nicole.

Nicole,
The third tutorial has the wrong name on the title page. It should not be cell creation. Other than that, it has the correct content.
