Javascript is a great language and has served us well on the browser
for a decade now. However, it would be great to have other languages
(atleast dynamic languages) on the browser for 2 reasons:
- As applications on the browser become more and more sophisticated,
application layers other than UI will evolve on the browser.
Supporting other languages will bring developers building these layers
elsewhere into Open Web.
- With SQL database in place, it will be easier to port applications
running on other languages into the browser.

Currently, the best alternative is to use silverlight to run these
applications built on other languages (on .NET). But it would be
great, if Open Web can support such applications.

thanks,
mani
