Now that summer is over, Open Tech Space will be starting some new
workshops.
First, Don will have another Arduino Cult Induction on Oct 11 at
TechShop.
Second, Paul Stoffregen will start teaching a series of workshops on
Getting Started with Microcontrollers. This series of workshops will
cover both hardware and software aspects of interfacing various
peripherals and devices to microcontrollers. There will be one 2-hour
workshop each month, covering different devices, including both
digital and analog input and output devices. Learn how to control
stuff using your microcontroller. The first workshop will be on
Monday, October 5 from 7 to 9pm, and we plan to offer future workshops
on Monday nights when there is no Dorkbot meeting.
Third, we want to start teaching an introduction to applied
electronics course. Several people have expressed interest in teaching
such a course (including me!). If you are still interested, please
send email to
w...@opentechspace.org. Maybe we can do this as a series
of classes, and share teaching duties.
