Calling All Tech Enthusiasts and Communities! Host an Open Tech Meetup with Us

Hi everyone,

Our new Open Tech Meetup series starts this September. You are welcome to be part of it. Upcoming meetup is the pre-event of the Software Freedom Day (SFD) 2023 which is happening on September 9.

On June 12, 2023, we wrapped up our bi-weekly meetups (both in-person and remote), which were less accessible to all. In response, we launched a quarterly meetup series that fosters greater inclusivity. The next meetup is happening on September 9, the first of this new series.

Throughout our journey, we've set a high bar for engaging meetups, whether it is a cafe meetup or college meetup or even a hiking meetup. We would love to see other clubs and communities support the culture and practices that have thrived in our community.

As our community has expanded; volunteers and community experts have spread across different parts of the country. So, to allow groups and individuals from various regions to engage into productive discussion and outcome, we invite college clubs, communities and organizations to host open technology meetups in their venues.

If your club or community is unable to host a meetup but you're eager to participate, consider joining the nearest meetup.
