Join the team: Women in Data Steering Committee Application Call

Dear Open Tech enthusiast,  

Greetings! Hope this email finds you in good health.

As you know, we firmly believe that supporting women in data is an integral and unmissable step toward strengthening Nepal’s data ecosystem. Our approach to this has been to drive collective action by building strong communities and networks. For this, we have formed a ‘Women in Data Steering Committee’, a close network of leading organizations that work together to create space for more women to advance in the field of data and technology. The Steering Committee is functioning in support of the The Asia Foundation’s Data for Development program.

 

The Steering Committee is looking to expand and is inviting organizations or groups to join the coalition. Please note that the organizations/groups do not need to be registered and can be loose groups.

 

This year, the Committee’s focus will be on hosting various discussions on common and important issues in the data/tech field, cross-learn from each other and finding ways to collaborate and devise workable solutions.

Women in Data Steering"s application is open till 17th July 2023. (We can work on the deadline if you are the college club planning to join the committee)
