Hi everyone,

Back in April, we had a hike, it was a great fun and we are doing it again to another place. It's a casual hike with no any special agenda besides having fun. Champadevi hill is our next hiking destination and everyone is welcome to join.

We are doing the hike this Saturday (Oct 14) and the detailed planning is available below. If you are joining, "reply to all" this email saying "I am joining" or something exciting so that we will have some idea about our count. Also share your contact number with your reply, if you feel like you should.

ROUTE PLANS & IMPORTANT NOTES

The overall route for hike is planned as following:
1. 8:00 to 8:15 - Gathering on the way to Hattiban Resort (by the side of main road), the place name is Bhangyang which is on the way to Dakshinkali temple. (Location: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/30478125#map=14/27.6271/85.2736)
2. 8:15 to 9:00 - Hiking to Hattiban Resort
3. 9:00 to 12:00 - Hiking to Peak of the Champadevi Hill
4. 12:00 to 13:00 - Resting, taking and sharing food & do some creative activities
5. 13:00 to 15:00 - Descend to Kritipur

Important Notes
1. Gathering & moving: Nobody will be waiting after 8:30 at Bhangyang.
2. Transportation: Public bus which goes to Dakshinkali Temple can drop you at Bhangyang. You may also use a ride sharing app. If you are planning to bring you own vehicle, make your proper plan which may not be similar to this route plan.
3. Food and drink: As far as I know, there is no any restaurant or cafe on the routing trail and no water sources. So, carry water bottles sufficient for you. For food, its best if you bring something fresh or freshly cooked food.
4. Safety: The weather forecast seems supportive this Saturday but nature may do unpredictable things. It may give you sun burn or get you soaked. Also, grab some medical tapes and ointments if you think its necessary.
5. Separate plan: If you are planning to hike to other extended routes then it is best that you tell others about separating.
6. Responsibly Hiking: Hike safely and be responsible.

Hope to see you this Saturday.

Regards
Arjun Gautam
