Running Open Technology Orientation Program - Call for Meetup

Hi Everyone,

We are doing a college orientation programs starting next week (April 23) to mid of May. So, we are doing an in-person meeting this Saturday and all of you are invited. It is an exciting program that includes sharing the concept of Open Data, FOSS & OSM across colleges, which we have also done last year. Organizations such as Open Knowledge Nepal, Kathmandu Living Labs & Open Mapping Hubs were part of this.

This event is a great way of sharing knowledge, growing community and networking with organizations, clubs and colleges. I call these orientations an energetic event because it is a different experience sharing to other people the ideas, concept and projects that you work on.

The meeting is in a cafe and we are doing this in a BSOD model, meaning "Buy Selves Own Drink" because everyone in this program and meeting will be involved voluntarily. So, don't hesitate to order a tea or a coffee for yourself. The meeting detail is below.

Detail: Meeting for Open Technology College Orientations
Location: Ramailo Chautari Cafe, Bishalnagar
Time: 4 PM - 5 PM (Sharp) Make sure that you will not get angry with Kathmandu's traffic

For those of you who are outside kathmandu valley and could not attend this meeting, if you are interested to do the orientation programs in your city, reply to this email with appropriate time and date for online meeting, we will be glad to guide you.

Hello everyone, 

For tomorrow's cafe gathering, we are also expecting some guests. Some students and researchers from the EU Joint Research Centre may join our meeting. So, besides planning for the orientation program, we will also have other conversations.
