Hi everyone,
As you may know, we had made a call for volunteer sometimes ago and the result was pretty good; there were about 40 responses. Those of who submitted their interests in volunteering are added to this mailing list.
As we are going to do more activities in coming days, we need to be sure that everyone who is committed to the community work is oriented with the sense and mindset of the community. So, we planned to do this orientation.
I had also emailed and called each volunteers to this online event in their email. However, those of you who haven't received personal email may also join. It is a half hour event happening on Apr 7 (tomorrow), from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. In short, we will talk about the essence of the community, focusing on the technologies and concepts that we work with priority: Open Data, FOSS and Open Mapping.
Please
mark your calendars and plan to attend.
