Hi everyone,

First of all I would like to say thank you for showing an interest in the Open Sourcity project. It means a lot that such a talented bunch of people are note rested in helping this idea get off the ground.

If you haven't already done so I encourage you to sponsor our Thunderclap campaign, as well as promoting it to your friends, family and on your social network. http://thndr.it/1cF9ULK

From this Google Group I'd like to work with you in developing Open Sourcity. I understand that we have a number of challenges ahead of us since this is all being built by volunteers from the open source community, but I believe together we can build a community that reinvents how open source products are viewed.

To begin with, I'll ask you all to introduce yourself and just briefly mention what you'd like to get out of this project. It'd also be great if you could tell us a little bit about yourself and what tasks you'd like to undertake as a member of this project.

Again, thank you all incredibly for your support. You are the very reason I believe this project will be an absolute success.

Cheers,
Beaux.

Hello everyone!

My name is Sascha Hrnjak. Im helping Beaux with the project Open SourCity from day one.
I worked for 5 jears as a Journalist for a private TV station.
My job often involved polishing shit to gold, so people are interested in it. In a TV station many things are run with: "i do something for you, you bring my product on tv". It gave me a good insight of what works for the masses, and what does not. I am thrilled to work with something that is acually an amazing idea, that can change so much.

Just like Beaux i have very specific ideas about Open SourCity, and about what it can become over time. Bringing people with ideas together with people with skills and knowlege is just the start. The world no loger belongs to companys. Together we can build up a place where everybody can do everything just with the right idea. Croudsourcing, Manpowersourcing, Sharing knowlege for the people who need it. Open SourCity has the potential to change the way things work. Developing Software and Hardware of any kind.
I am looking forward to start Open SourCity in the very spirit it will work with, together with people who want to be part of a good idea.

Right now I am in Thailand, so my conrebution is a bit limited. Once I am back home, I will help take care of public relations, budgeting, and finding right sponsors. Until then, i am there for any questions about the page.

Cheers,
Sascha Hrnjak
