Getting started and introductions

Hi guys,

Let me start by mentioning that English is not Sascha's first language. I like to tease him about his English, but the fact of the matter is he speaks two languages, so I lose that argument every time.

I'll introduce myself now. My name is Beaux Walton. I've worked as a mechanic for the last 5 years, first for the Australian Army and then for a large mining company in Western Australia. Computing and all things technology related are my passion and have been since I first started experimenting with my Amiga 500 in the early 90s.

I started the Open Sourcity project with Sascha in an attempt to get more people involved in the open source community. I'm hoping that we can work together as a team to make open source software more accessible for everyone. This includes both using and helping to develop free/open source software.

I must admit that I'm a bit of a workaholic, so if you need me, I'm available pretty much 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
