Job Title: Ab Initio Architect
Client: Confidential
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 8-12 Months
Start Date: 12/03/12
Number of Openings: 1
Skills Needed:
- Min 3 years ETL Development using Ab Initio (EME and Metadata Hub desired). Experience with DataStage Server also a plus.
- Min 3 years Linux (including shell programming)
- Min 3 years Oracle and Teradata (must include use of Explain plans for performance tuning and use of TOAD)
- 2 years working in a blended ODS/Dimensional model environment (must include familiarity with Kimball and ability to use/read Erwin data models)
- Knowledge of full life-cycle development - having participated in requirements gathering, design, development and testing
- Knowledge of OLAP tools such as Business Object a plus
- Knowledge of retail product processes including item management a plus Professional Skills:
- Understand SOx Policy & Procedures
- Display outstanding verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate technical design, issue management, and task progress
NOTE: This person will be heading up a conversion from DataStage to Ab Initio.
