engineers, working together within an extremely collaborative environment in downtown Chicago. The

Job Description:

We’re looking for highly seasoned Software engineers with very deep experience (10+ years) building

enterprise web applications in the insurance industry. These people need to be highly motivated selfstarters

capable of taking the ball and running with it. We need people with excellent communications

and leadership experience. Candidates need to be able to function effectively in a highly dynamic, fluid,

fast‐paced environment. However, these candidates need to be highly disciplined technicians who

produce thorough, well thought out deliverables of the highest quality and caliber. Experience with

insurance quote and purchase customer facing applications is desired – especially in the auto insurance

area. Experience in other financial areas such as payments and billing would be a plus. These

candidates will need to have the following specific skills:

 

Required Technical Skills:

 Deep expertise with Java – specifically Java 6

 Deep expertise with Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, and CSS3

 Deep experience with JSPs and at least one custom tag library

 Very deep experience with Spring including:

 SpringMVC

 SpringWebflo

 SpringSecurity

 SpringTransactions

 SpringJDBC

 Deep understanding of source control with specific experience with SVN

 Understanding of the CI build process with specific experience with Maven

 Web Services including Apache CXF (an open source framework for developing web services)

 SOA and ESB with specific expertise with MULE

 RDBMS/SQL experience on DB2 and/or PostgreSQL

 Agile development methodology
