[OSM-Public] Call for a Special Meeting of the Members of Open Source Matters Inc.

Dear Members of Open Source Matters Inc.,

On our Annual General Meeting of the Members of Open Source Matters Inc. it was decided that the elected Directors of the Board of OSM Inc. during that meeting were appointed for a six month term. This term will be ending on October 8th, 2015 for all Board Directors, with the exception that each Officer will hold office until his of her successor has been elected or appointed or qualified.

See section 5.1.2 of our Bylaws:

5.1.2. All Officers will be elected or appointed to hold office until the Annual Regular Meeting of the Board. Each Officer will hold office for the term for which she or he is elected or appointed and until her or his successor has been elected or appointed or qualified. Notwithstanding any other provision of these by-laws, any Officer who holds the position of President, Secretary or Treasurer will hold office until her or his successor has been appointed, elected, appointed or qualified.

I hereby invite you to a Special Meeting of the Members of Open Source Matters Inc. on October 8th, 2015 at 9:30 pm CEST (3:30 Eastern Time). The meeting will take place right after our monthly meeting of the Board of Directors.

If you are not able to attend this meeting, please send an email to me and consider authorize another member to vote by proxy for you. 
See section 3.8 of our bylaws:

3.8. PROXIES. Each Member may authorize another person or persons to act for her or him in business by proxy. Every proxy must be in writing, signed by the member or her or his attorneyinfact. Proxies sent via email will require no signature. No proxy will be valid after the expiration of eleven months from the date thereof unless otherwise provided in the proxy. Every proxy will be revocable at the pleasure of the member executing it, except as otherwise provided by law.
