Hi folks,
Since we're currently operating in a period that we don't have an approved budget for 2015, I wanted to share what we've done in the past to handle this situation temporarily. What we did was create a motion that looks something like the following.
"That the budget for December 2010 be applied for January 2011 and until such time as a final budget for 2011 is approved."
We could probably massage this a bit more to increase accuracy, but I think it's a tool that could be useful for our Treasurer in future years as needed.
