Dear all,

I compiled a brief summary document (uploaded to Google Groups)
containing tips and other people's experiences on starting an open
source software community. Please take a look and let's discuss what
we can pull from this for OSSI.

Hi all,

Bill, thanks for uploading the file. It was a good read, and I hope we
can apply its concepts successfully here as well.

Your meeting minutes for LA2010 meeting was also good and thoughtful.
Thanks for that too.

I guess building a community is not such a easy thing, and it will
take a lot of time and effort. But in the long run, it could be as
much rewarding (at a different level from just material rewards) as
how difficult it is to get it going.

Well, coming to this group late, I sort of feel a little bit like an
obnoxious lone cheerleader, but - "Guys, we can do this!"

cheers,
Rob Pak
