Hey all, I just stumbled across this group, looks like a great initiative. I belong to the Schoenstatt Movement and I've been working to complete and share info on the Schoenstatt Shrines around the world. It's a collaborative site where any registered user can edit. All the data is free under Creative Commons and available via REST API.

I strongly believe that Mary has a special mission in today's Church, and it's worth a lot of time and effort to encourage people to get to know our Blessed Mother who leads us to Christ. I think it would be really cool, to (in addition to Schoenstatt shrines) compile info on other Marian shrines to make it easy to integrate into any of the Catholic apps out there.

There are some details to be worked out still, but if others would happen to be interested in this, I'd be happy to open up the code. It's written in PHP on Zend Framework 3.
