Unit Icon to 4 digits - Earlier Conversation unclear

Sorry if I am repeating an earlier conversation.

I have a need for adding a "4th" digit on the "Add Units" page that then tracks through situations screens, Call Board and Maps.

I have changed a few instances as tests, but they either don't work, or they crash the database.

I'm only casually capable in PHP, hence the request for assistance.

I'm assuming changes need to be made to the Variable, several PHP scripts and a table in the database.
