All.

For those of you experiencing a login to the no-maps situation screen even when the setting "Internet" is set to 1 and you have a valid connection please download the attachment and put this in your /incs/ directory.

The problem is that when checking for a valid internet connection, Tickets looks for http://www.yahoo.com when this is now only available as https. The attachment changes the url and solves the problem.

Cheers

Mike Hoeft, it's possible that the symptom you're reporting isn't the one that this fix from Andy addresses;  Could you send a screen-shot of the Situation page showing the problem?

Arnie:

I'm having the same issue.  I have a premium Google API Key and a valid internet connection.  I replaced the file you shared, but the map does not work on anything except setting the default maps.

I'm still very new to the system and haven't got very deep into the system yet.  The home Situation screen shows the Incidents, Responders, Facilities, Recent Events, and Statistics, but it does not display the map.  When you attempt to create a new Unit, the system will not validate an address since (I assume) the lookup function won't work since the map isn't working?

Hi Matthew,

I’ve just installed a completely new instance on our web server and I’m having exactly the same problem. I’ve also tried the patch with no joy. Did you manage to resolve it?

Thanks
Richard

Just to close this out, I’ve changed my php back to 7.1 and this seems to have done the trick.

Thanks

Mike, as you can see below I am using PHP 7.2.16

Perhaps the reason you are having a problem is not in the version of PHP so much as a mismatch in PHP vs MySQL versions. In the past I have seen that to be an issue. I'm not even sure Tickets is up to date on my system because I usually only update if there is a change that I am interested in, or I simply get a couple of years behind. The machine is not used for anything other than Tickets, Traccar, OwnCloud, and simple web/php pages, and for a single entity. I do update using YUM a little more often, but it has never broken Tickets.

One thing to note is, I have
NEVER successfully used a LAMP/WAMP stack on a Windows machine. Others have. My experience with Tickets has always been on a linux flavor.

Cheers,
Mark

I have no luck at all. I tried everything, even using 7.1 PHP and 7.4 - still no map.

Austin, can you show a screenshot of your System Summary like I did above?

Austin, two things.  First, can you send a dbdump to me?  shoreas [at] gmail [dot] com?

Secondly, I see you've used the quick start option at install time.  Sorry for the trouble, but could you re-install without that option?  It can be tricky.

This was it.. odd

-- start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start  start

-- Dumping tables for database: wcrescue_911c

-- end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end  end

I will try a reinstall without the quick start option!  As a 2nd thing, do you know when Zello will be integrated? I saw the files in here :)
