Hello everyone,
after few attemps, I managed to have a functional installation of ticketscad on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ (even with PHP 8.4).

My first question: The only problem I recognized so far: after clicking on the "Chat" button, the browser crashed and was closed. I only tried this once so far, but would be interested to know if there's a known issue about that?

2nd question: is there a how-to manual about installing offline maps?

And finally: Is there a way the program could be translated to German? (it is optional, but I live in Switzerland and by experience people are less afraid of using a program if they understand the buttons...)

Thanks a lot!!!

Kurt, that's good news.  But a question re your using PHP 8.4 :  Yours is the only reference I've seen of the (mostly!) successful Tix operation with any PHP 8 version.

Can you confirm that you've not needed to make any software changes to get it operating?

Hi Arnie
no, I didn't change anything on the software (I wouldn't even have the knowledge to do so). I can start tickets and I can configure it. However, it looks like a Raspberry Pi 3B isn't the right choice. The program runs extremely slow...so I stopped working with it, it is unusable like this.

I'll try to install it again on a faster machine.

There's some others here who have also used that platform; mebbe they can help.  But guesswork wd suggest that you first might get the RAM way up if you can.

Ummm, with all the talk these days about AI generating code, I gotta look forward to some chatbox doing a version upgrade automatically; ideally as part of a platform release.

Dream on, Shore ... .
