Initial install in Windows Server 2019

After the perquisites install of MySQL and PHP  for IIS, I get the following error after attempting to "please run "install.php" with valid database *******":  

Installing 2.20 A base beta
ERROR! Directory './incs' is not writable. 'Write' permissions must be corrected for installation.  

Any ideas as to what file needs RW permissions?

The DIRECTORY needs to be writable, but only for the duration of the install, IIRC.

The entire ‘wwwroot’ should be made RW?  Then afterwards?

Just the /incs directory. After install return to read only I believe.

Progress.  No errors when hitting 'Install.php', just a blank page comes up.  Ideas?

Possibly a mismatch in the necessary version of php & msql.  It's been noted that php8 cannot be used, IIRC.

And -- depending on browser, right click and View Source.  Sometimes a useful error will be reported.

PHP version is old. Find a 7 something. MySQL version is too new.

Thankyou guys for all your assist.  Did a clean load with PHP 7.0.33 & MySQL 5.7.36, on Windows Server 2019, IIS.  All appears to work well.  Awaiting the PD guys to bang on it to see if everything work.  Thanks again.

Good to hear that it came up fivers for you.  

Now keep us current re how your PD guys are breaking stuff or otherwise kicking the tires.  We're waiting to hear.
