Can someone share a step by step guide on how to create TicketsCAD on AWS?

You need to setup a virtual machine on aws running linux or ubuntu and check for  how to setup LAMP server. From that just create your ftp access, your mysql database and user, drop the ticketscad file through ftp and follow the steps

i got the lamp setup but not sure where to send the file. i sent it over to the AWS but can't for the love of me understand what to do from there.

You are in the wrong folder. Noramlly its http or public_html

Go in the root "/" so the principal folder of the ftp. Then click on the "var" folder and after "www" that's where you need to send the files

so I moved it. and when I got to the website http://54.196.9.99/ticket/ i get the 404 page. not sure what to do?

Make sure to open the ports in your firewall like 80 for http

Are you sure of the ip address ? I didnt saw any 404 page it just dont load your server ip

i just deleted it and trying to load it from scratch. i have a feelling i may had missed a step

so deleting it and starting from scratched worked. now i'm stuck at this part. 

Installing 2.20 A base beta

Connection to MySQL failed using the following entered values:

MySQL Host: localhost
MySQL Username: root
MySQL Password: none entered

MySQL Database Name: tickets

Please correct these entries and try again.

i know i created the database in mariaDB so it should be able to see it.
