Well, I for one am still vertical, but Andy has been doing the almost all of the development work for some time now.

Shawn, all, it may not come aa a surprise that Andy and I agree that what you, Shawn propose makes sense, and does indeed represent the future of Tickets development. Frankly, it's made sense for a good while now, but there always was some reason for 'Yes, but first I gotta ...'.

Now for good and sufficient reason, Andy and I are stepping back on the development work, (I've been off any real development for some time now) I plan to get a call for volunteers out on the main Tix list to pick up on work needed on several Tix-related fronts. So consider this an early warning, in case any of you have the time and inclination to join the 'head shed'. It's sorely needed, and will be much appreciated by all, I'm sure.

Shawn, no need to elaborate. If your ideas were proffered as suggestions for Andy/me to implement, that's just not going to happen, since I'm essentially leaving the project and Andy is stepping back, at least for a while.

OTOH, if you yourself are prepared to proceed on any of them, then bless you! you're enthusiastically encouraged to do so, and we'll provide any assistance we can along the way.
