For new RF Daughter board options, I personally recommend looking at
the offerings from both Analog Devices, and Linear Technology. The
LTC5517 for example is a Quadrature receive mixer speced at 40MHz to
900MHz, but I have seen it used down to 3MHz, and it may be usable on
the 902-928MHz ISM band.
Also the Silicon Labs Si570 type programmable oscillators are very
good for what they cost.
