Hi all,
I will host a new trial bokken class starting this Thursday (tomorrow), 6-6:50pm.
I anticipate teaching this class as a series - a Fall September through late November session, restarting for at least a few months in Spring with a pause in December. If it's well and consistently attended I'd like to keep it going as a regular thing, but that will depend on demand / attendance in the Fall and Spring.
Like the Sunday jo class, I anticipate taking it as an opportunity both (a) to regularly practice core, basic movements and (b) explore more advanced movements over time. Examples of advanced movements: ki musubi no tachi variations, movements from sansho 3, tachi tori and waza, and more advanced open hand parallel movements.
Please join if you're interested and email / ask at the dojo if you have questions.
