Morning all,

Tai Chi
- Mon 12/15 is the last practice day of the Fall-Winter schedule. The next session of short form practice will return Mon Jan 12. I highly recommend trying to maintain at least some light practice routine after group practice ends!

Aikido -
Big picture: reduced schedule through Dec; new year's practice Thu Jan 1.
- Sean's Sat & Sun 9:45-10:45 classes will continue without pause through December. (If you haven't been able to make it in the past, perhaps now is a good time to check out these classes Sean has diligently been maintaining.)
- Sun 12/14 jo will be the last jo class of the year; Sun 12/21 and 12/28 are open mat
- Mon 12/15 will be the last Monday class of the year; Mon 12/22 and 12/29 are open mat
- Thu bokken 6-6:50 class is on pause / open mat until the new year. Feedback welcome about continuing that class in 2026.
- Thu 12/11 (today) class is on (Margo will be substitute teaching) and the last class of the year; Thu 12/18 is open mat; 12/25 dojo is closed.
- Tue, Wed open mats may continue - coordinate with other members for that practice.
- Thursday Jan 1, 7-8pm will be a new year's aikido practice. More as we get closer to that date.

At least for my own body-mind, I need both practice and rest, group and solo practice. This can be a tricky time of year for many reasons, and also a good time to recover, reset, reenergize, and deepen practice.

Best wishes with your own balancing of rest, solo training, and group training (and the entire rest of life and the people we care about) during this time of year! See you in 2026 if not before.

-Mike
