Sr. SAP Basis Administrator Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for technical SAPBasis management and maintenance of client’s corporate SAP business systems. AdministerBasis activities for daily operations, production support, and SAP implementations and projects. The senior analyst will be responsible for problem management and resolution, installation, upgrades, configuration, and patch management for the current and future systems to maintain 24 X 7 core global SAP business system availability. Develop and maintain documentation consistentwith IT standards, policies, and controls. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings when required, carry cell phone and be on call 24 X 7. Some amount of travel required for training and implementations. Experienced in Production Support, Implementation Support and day-to-day operations and configuration of SAP Netweaver Technologies
Must be proficient and possess strong working experience in:
Performance management and systems management
utilizing SAP supplied tools.
Requires strong working knowledge of SAP integration and interfaces,
such as RFC, ALE, CIF,SAP Connect, Java Connectors,
PI, SAP Certificates, Single-Signon, WEB services.
Production operations support of SAP system environments running on
IBM unix, HP unix, and Windows platform with Oracle database.
Deep understanding of SAP Netweaver 7.01 and 7.02 concepts and strong
hands-on working knowledge of SAP Java, ABAP, and WEB system landscapes.
Deep understanding and strong hands-on working knowledge
of SAP Portal components, SAPSolution Manager components (ChaRM
change management, SMD Diagnostics/RCA, Monitoring, Projects, CCMS), System
Landscape Directory, Process Integration (PI), TDMS, ECC 6.0 landscapes.
Deep understanding and strong working knowledge of SAP Transport
Management system, SAPJava integrations, client copy, print and spool
management, tuning SAP in various environments, profile and parameter
management, security management, file and storage management.
Deep understanding and strong hands-on working knowledge of SAP ERP
ECC 6.0, PLM, SCM/Livecache, BW/BI, TREX, Content management, CRM and
E-Selling, SRM MDM Catalog, andSAP BusinessObjects landscapes.
Performing installations, upgrades, patch maintenance, backup/recovery,
systems configuration and integration, and production support.
