Sorry for the spam on the list but they are getting clever. I have
just got back from Egypt and also got myself a new job which will eat
up some of my time. I have had some kind offers of help working on
open-sapi and will try to put these people to working on useful task
to push the project forward.
I have not been working on the project for sometime but it is much
more advanced offline on my machine that is currently available to the
general publib using the current SVN instructions found on the main
site. Over the next few weeks i will try and polish off the debugging
features and update the wiki to reflect the changes. There is some SVN
maintenance and clean-ups needed.
From there i think I will have a basic feature freeze and try to iron
out all of the bugs. The system is still missing a lot of
functionality and needs a lot of work but the foundation is there to
be built on.
What the project is desperate for is an open-sapi speech dispatcher
module to enable the full features found in open-sapi in the speech
dispatcher client. If there are any brave souls out there who think
the might want to start of this task then drop me an e-mail.
Happy new years to all those following
Tom
my only complaint is that none of the spam contained any pictures of
naked ladies! Do contact me off-list and let me know about the new job
- does it involve saying "Would you like fries with that?"
