In case you missed it, OR2026 took place online 8-11 June. With 39 sessions, 150 speakers, 14 supporters and nearly 1000 registered attendees, this was one of our largest conferences yet!

We know that, with a limit of 1000 attendees, not everyone who wanted to attend was able to. That’s why we prioritized getting sessions recordings posted to the Open Repositories Zenodo repository as quickly as possible.

Links to recordings are listed beneath each session in the conference program PDF at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.20820265 and in the web version at https://www.conftool.net/or2026/index.php?page=browseSessions&print=export&form_date=all&presentations=show.

The web version of the program will be available through the end of 2026; the PDF is available for the foreseeable future.

All OR2026 slides and recordings are available in the Open Repositories Zenodo community with the tag OR2026 https://zenodo.org/communities/openrepos/records?q=&f=subject%3AOR2026

We especially encourage you to check out our best Online Express Lightning Talk award winner, “A Little UX Goes a Long Way: How You Can Do Lightweight Testing to Identify Priorities” at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.20788995. This quick video by Sara Byrd is packed full of useful, usable approaches for conducting user testing on a shoestring - no special UX skills or software required!

Sara is a User Experience Specialist at the NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) in the US.
