OR 2025 Fellowship applications now open

Dear Open Repositories Community,
We are pleased to announce that the Open Repositories Steering Committee is now accepting applications for fellowships to attend OR2025 in Chicago, USA (https://or2025.openrepositories.org/) on June 15-18, 2025. The fellowship program seeks to enhance global participation in Open Repositories by providing an opportunity for those with limited travel funding to attend the conference.
Fellowship recipients will receive funding for travel, accommodation, meals and incidentals, as well as full conference registration, including the poster reception and conference dinner.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be librarians, repository managers, developers, students, or researchers in digital libraries or related fields
Although all applications will be considered, preference will be given to applicants who:
- Have never received a fellowship from Open Repositories
- Have not attended Open Repositories previously or have attended very few times
NOTE: Fellowship applicants who have submitted a conference proposal will be given priority.

In order to be considered for a fellowship, please complete this application form by 22 January 2025. Applicants will be notified by 25 February 2025.
