Greetings,

I have my guiding pretty well dialed in but even though the Frequency Analysis shows that my 300 second peak is fine (~3" p-p), all the charts show this big tail off to the right.   My stars are nice and round so it is not a big deal to me, but I am just wondering what this "tail" represents.

Thanks in advance!

Tom

Hi Tom

that's normal polar alignment drift, nothing to be concerned about

it roughly corresponds with the big arch you see here in your RA:

Thanks Brian - that is what I figured.   Thanks for all you do with PHD2 - I wrestled with it for a while with my CEM60 but after being patient and following instructions carefully it works very well.   I am imaging at about 1.7"/pixel so guiding at 0.6 "/pixel works out great for me!
