For some reason I can't build a dark library. PHD 2 was working fine until I did an update of windows but that might just be a coincidence. I'm running 2.6.1.1dev6,  ASI 120MM Mini camera, Ioptron CEM 120. Device manager shows that it's connected and I can image with it in NINA. When I try to build a dark library I get the following error message :"The camera has not completed an exposure in at least 15 seconds, so it has been disconnected to prevent other problems. Refer to Trouble-shooting section of Help. PHD will make several attempts to re-connect the camera."  I've changed the cable but that didn't resolve the issue.  Here is my log.  https://openphdguiding.org/logs/dl/PHD2_logs_RUm5.zip

Thanks,

Richard

Since you’re using the ASCOM camera driver from ZWO, this problem doesn’t really have anything to do with PHD2.  You can try using the native (non-ASCOM) ZWO driver and see if that changes anything.  One thing to insure is that you aren’t allowing Windows to disable any of the USB ports as part of a power-saving scheme.  You can read about that in the trouble-shooting section:

https://openphdguiding.org/man-dev/Trouble_shooting.htm#Problems-_Camera_Timeouts

Since you mentioned that you recently did a Windows update, this could be your problem. Beyond that, you should probably get help from ZWO but you will need to emphasize that you see the problem with their ASCOM camera driver, so it’s not related to PHD2.

Good luck,

Bruce

I just had the same problem.  Switching to the native (non-ASCOM) driver has seemed to fix all the issues.  There is a thread posted a few days ago.
