Hi, I haven't found any information on this subject in the forum.
I already succeeded to guide my setup with PHD2 configuration including a rotator but yesterday, I realized that the guiding was sending the mount completely off, it was diverging and when I ran guiding assistant with backlash measurement, the curve looked live a V and not a ^ . As the mount is a dual encoder one I stopped PHD2 and tried to rely on the sky model for that night.
Trying to understand what happened, what is happening if I launched PHD2 before connecting the rotator to the computer (wanderer empire software)? At first PHD2 was missing the rotator of the configuration.
In that case will PHD2 connect automatically to the rotator later once it is up and running? If PHD2 does not see the rotator of the configuration will it alert with a message poping up?

Thanks for your help and support, Frédéric

No, it isn't going to automatically recover.  You probably need to adjust your operational procedures to insure all the necessary gear is physically connected before starting PHD2.

Thanks Bruce, you confirm what I most probably triggered and I will standardized the connection sequence to avoid this mistake in the future.
