PHD2 keeps disconnecting from camera

  This is an ongoing problem.  I will set PHD2 to take 1 second exposures from the guide camera (an ASI183MM Pro), but after an hour or so PHD2 disconnects from the camera and gives out the following message:

"After 16.0 sec the camera has not completed a 1.0 sec exposure, so it has been disconnected to prevent other problems."

I am testing PHD2 in a dark observatory, not pointing at the sky because my mount is not balanced yet.  I do not know if this has anything to do with the problem or not.

But when I look at the PHD2 screen (after the disconnection) I see that it is still looping because the image on the screen keeps changing every 1.0 sec.  But the status of the camera on PHD2 does not say "Looping", it says "No star selected".

The "Stop" icon is lit in Red - not gray.  So when I hit "Stop" the looping stops.  Then when I click the icon to disconnect the camera, I can see in the small box that appears, that the camera and all other equipment are actually still connected.

Attached is a screen print showing the error.  At the time this screen print was taken, the camera was acting normally and sending a new frame every 1 second.
