I have a new SV305M Pro (purchased 21/7/2026 from Amazon) and I and I can’t get this to work in PHD2.  I am using PHD2 2.6.14 on Windows 11. The bundled SVBCameraSDK v1.13.2 enumerates the camera but fails to open it. Replacing the DLL with SVBCameraSDK v1.13.4 allows connection, but the MONO8 and MONO16 images are inverted (i.e. are negative images) and heavily noisy. Shorter exposures become brighter and higher gain increases the inverted signal as expected. SOme result with either setting 8 bit or 16 bit.The same camera displays normally in SharpCap 4.1 using MONO8 or MONO16. The SVBONY ASCOM camera connection in PHD2 produces the same inverted image. Camera serial ends in 0007.  The PHD2 software has been working fine using a SV705C camera. Is this a software problem or a PHD2 specific hardware problem with the SV305M or some combination?

For now, you should stay with the ASCOM driver for the camera, and if it doesn't work as expected, you should work with SvBony.  All ASCOM camera devices are treated the same way in PHD2, so we don't have to deal with device peculiarities.  You can also use the 'camera properties' button in the 'Connect Equipment' dialog to see if there are ASCOM properties that need to be adjusted.  The ASCOM driver and its properties dialog all come from SvBony.

Good luck,
Bruce
