Lots of things I am trying to determine but key here is in regards to PHD2.

First, I am finally switching to from an Alt/Az mount to a Eq Mount and will be using PHD2 and my ZWO ASI220mm-mini for purposes of pulse guiding for M31 and its imaging using SharpCap Pro 4.1.

Second, I am also trying to determine if I need to use platesolving and syncing with SharpCap Pro 4.1 on my initial StarSense alignment to improve its the error to below 1-arcminute.  However, I am also trying to decide if I even need my StarSense camera on my Eq Mount since I will be using a PoleMaster.

Third, with the new Eq Mount, as I said, I plan to use my PoleMaster which I am hoping can get my polar alignment to less than 1-arcminute which I think would be good enough for my purposes as an amateur to all this.

So, finally my question is for the purposes of PHD2 only, which ASCOM driver would be preferred, which has the least issues, or does it even matter?

If it does not matter and I think the option would be with syncing CPWI is out and I have to go with the Celestron Unified Driver 6.1.7350, however, otherwise I guess I would defer to CPWI.  Anyway, what is everyone's 2 cents on this?

Thanks,

Edmund

Update, so I switched to iPolar Polarscope so does anyone have experience with using CPWI and CUD 6.1.7350 and which is preferred for the purposes of PHD2 and having an effective mechanism to communicate with a Celestron mount?

Any input on which is better would be appreciated?

Thanks,

Edmund
