Cant connect to Paramount ME II

I get error message: The SkyX was selected, but it does not appear to be installed or configured for scripting.

another window shows "connecting to mount", but never does

in the connect equipment window I have Starlight SXV for camera, and ASCOM Telescope Driver for The Sky in the mount box

Windows 10 system,   latest version of The SkyX and PHD2.

Any ideas?

Hi John.  Software Bisque doesn’t support ASCOM without a little extra work on your part.  You first need to install their plug-in, called the Ascom 2x Mount Adaptor:

When you connect to that, you then need to make sure the settings match this guide:

The important settings here are ‘use DirectGuide’ and ‘Can Get Pointing State’
