Selecting camera in PHD2 Setup

I am setting up my rig to use PHD2 for guiding. I have an SX LodestarX2 guide cam. I don't see that camera in the drop down camera chooser window. The only choice is the SXV. The pixel size in that choice is wrong. Where can i find the Lodestar?

Hello Don, The driver downloads page of the Starlight Express website offers:

Current Version Signed drivers for 32 and 64 bit Windows 7, 8 and 10 (version 1.3.8.0) N.B. Do not use with Windows XP!

So, I installed this, but as you note the X2 camera doesn't appear in the PHD2 camera selector.

 However, I did notice lower down on the Downloads page:

‘Starlight Live’ software for use with SX mono and colour cameras. Also works with the Lodestar and Lodestar X2. Version 3.4 now available with bug fixes and more advanced support for all SX cameras and the SX filter wheel (released 16/3/19).

Have you tried that?

Even further down the page that Jack pointed to is:

ASCOM Driver for Starlight Xpress (SX) cameras

That's what I use with a LodeStarX2 and PHD2

The StarlightXPress folks have a unified driver for their cameras, and it's the one labelled as SXV.   If you connect to the camera through that driver the pixel size choice should be correct.  As others have said, you can also use the ASCOM driver for the camera which is of equally high quality.
