After the meridian flip I had the problem on an axis.

Hi guys, despite having activated the option to reverse the results after the meridian flip, I have encountered the correction problem. I even reached a point where the corrections exceeded the pattern. Keep in mind that I use NINA as the acquisition software and connect both to be synchronized with each other. But I don't know if there are any changes to be made in PHD2 or NINA. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

Here's the description from the User Guide:

Your log shows the option was enabled.  For your mount driver, this option needs to be disabled, so that eliminates the need for you to figure it outDisable it (Advanced Settings/Guiding tab) and re-calibrate.  However, if for some reason you decide to switch to the GSServer for your mount, you will need to enable the setting and, again, re-calibrate.

Hi Bruce, thanks for your help. I'll try disabling this feature in the Ascom driver and let you know. I'm wondering, considering you mentioned GSServer, would it be easier to use this driver to make things easier?

I think you're confused.  Don't monkey around with the ASCOM driver settings, the setting Brian and I are talking about is in PHD2.  It's in the Advanced Settings (brain) dialog on the Guiding tab.  If you start changing settings in multiple places you're likely to create a mess.  I don't have a recommendation about EQMod vs GSServer, as far as I can tell they each have some minor problems.  If you just get the setting right in PHD2 you should be fine.

Okay, thanks for the tip. It was actually enabled because I remember somewhere that this feature had to be enabled to prevent reverse corrections. So in my case, I have to check it. Right?

Perfect. Now everything's clear. Thank you for your time and patience.

I'll try to update you on the success during the next astronomical evenings.

Thank you,
Domenico
