Turing off/on PEC

I have run Train PEC on the Gemini II and the PEC Active after Boot is checked and within the PEC directory on the Gemini II server the created date of CurrPEC is 20050923.

There are three different ways to Turn On/Off PEC within the Gemini II system.

The Hand Controller, the ASCOM Gemini in the System Tray, and the Web Interface of the Hand Controller.

Hand Controller: PEC Active after Boot is checked and an Icon shows Turn PEC OFF shows but when I click on the PEC OFF Icon nothing happens.

ASCOM Gemini: under Setup/PEC I can clear the PEC or I can uncheck the PEC Active after Boot but no way to Stop PEC.

Web Interface: there is check box with PEC. When I uncheck it a short time later it checks itself back on.

In PEMPro there are two Icons with PEC ON / PEC OFF and an Icon above both stating if PEC is ON/OFF. While the Gemini II/Mount is connected when I click the PEC OFF nothing happens and the PEC ON Icon does not change to PEC OFF.

How can I turn off PEC so I can create a PEMPro curve with PEC turned off?

PEC is not a feature of PHD, so your question is more relevant for PEMPro and/or Losmandy forum
