Hello,

I recently bought a SVBONY scope and 905C autoguiding camera for use with my iOptron SkyGuider Pro mount. It appears to only accept ST4 commands with its autoguiding, so I used the provided cable to connect the mount and camera. When trying to connect to the equipment on PHD2, the camera is recognized as a "Windows WDM-style webcam camera", but I am unable to connect to the mount using the "on camera" setting. I have been unable to locate any guidance on how to deal with this issue. I noted that in the event logs, the following line appears: "Attempt to Connect Onboard ST4 mount when host does not have guide output". Earlier, it notes that "ST4HasGuideOutput=0". I would guess that these issues may be linked, but am not sure on how to fix the issue.

It sounds like you haven't installed the drivers for the camera - either native or ASCOM.  There's a sizable section in the User Guide that talks about these basics.  I don't think there's any reason to have to use the web cam interface.  Perhaps you should contact SVBONY for help.

Regards,
Bruce

I had downloaded both the native and ascom drivers from their respective websites, but I may have installed them incorrectly. In any case, I uninstalled and reinstalled PHD2 and it started working properly.
