I've reinstalled the latest ASCOM  platform several times and updated all my relevant drivers more than once and cannot get the iGuider to show up in the Device Manager or to connect to PHD2. I'm out of ideas - next step is to take the mount to iOptron. I have been able to connect in the past (no idea why it stopped connecting) but have had no luck for the past 2 months.

If anyone out there has faced this issue and conquered it, please shoot me a note..
Thank you!
Gary

Hi Gary.  The important point is that you can't get the camera to show up in the Device Manager.  That has nothing to do with ASCOM or any astronomy-related software.  You should probably pursue this as a hardware/driver problem - change USB cables, use different ports, make sure that Windows isn't interfering with USB port management, etc. If you look in the trouble-shooting section of the PHD2 manual under "camera disconnects", you will find a list of things to try for USB-connected devices.  But you won't get anywhere at all until Windows recognizes the device when you plug it in.   iOptron should be able to help you, it's their device.

Good luck,
Bruce
